Raquel Moreno is a writer based in Philadelphia. She has worked in the nonprofit sector as well as the food and hospitality industries.

When she cooked, she also blogged, wrote recipes and self-published a guide to plant-based cooking.

When she was in the nonprofit food sector, she collaborated on grant proposals and crafted narratives to help funders visualize how their dollars were being spent. She also wrote curricula to teach children and adults how to cook nourishing meals with limited resources.
